I was on Facebook now and ran into this gem of a statement from a friend of mine:
Confessional: I’ve evolved to become a typical putrid American, so with age I now find myself becoming more politically conservative (aka nationalistic). The strong cannot eternally support the weak. I’m very proud of my ultra-liberal college yrs, and I will always be left-of-center because i believe that society is morally obligated to support those who struggle economically or societally. I will never abondon some level of Keynsianism, but society cannot exhaustingly support those who struggle. Greece should’ve gone bankrupt, and Americans need to pay their debts. period. sorry, but life is life, not a free ride. period.
Says the rich, white engineer with two degrees who is in India overseeing his firm’s exploitation of all that cheap brown labour.
